The City of Kamloops is reminding residents that quarterly utility payments are due by December 31, 2025, and late payments will be subject to penalties and interest.
City officials note that any potential mail service interruptions this fall will not affect the deadline. Utility users are encouraged to plan ahead to ensure payments are received on time.
Residents can view and manage their utility bills online through the City’s MyCity platform at Kamloops.ca/MyCity. The free tool allows users to access current and past utility bills, review payment history, and view detailed account information. MyCity also provides access to dog and business licence details, property assessment and tax levy information, building and development permits, inspection requests, and paperless eBilling.
Those without MyCity access can visit City Hall or call 250-828-3438 for assistance with billing information.
To make paying easier, the City offers several payment options, including online payments at Kamloops.ca/Payment, online banking through financial institutions, and in-person payments at City Hall between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays. Payments can also be dropped off at the 24/7 City Hall dropbox or at weekday dropboxes located at the Tournament Capital Centre, North Shore Community Policing Office, and Westsyde Pool between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
City officials are encouraging residents to take advantage of online tools and convenient payment methods to ensure their utility bills are paid on time before the end of the year.
