Kamloops RCMP have confirmed that one suspect is being held in custody following reports of a stabbing in the later part of the afternoon on Tuesday in the Brocklehurst neighborhood at a home near the intersection of Southill Road and Parkcrest Avenue.
Kamloops Mounties confirm one suspect — identified by those close to the victim as a young man in his mid-20’s — who is being held until he can appear before a judge.
RCMP are expected to release more details into the attack sometime this Wednesday, which involved the suspect allegedly seeking revenge from an incident the day before on Monday.
That incident — according to the victim’s fiancée — saw the RCMP called out to remove the suspect from the same location where he had reportedly started attacking his own father on Monday.

The victim’s loved one says while he will survive the ordeal, the attack has left him with injuries which will take months to recover from, rendering him unable to continue working — for the time being at least — as a mechanic.
