
Police in Kamloops are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman alleged to be involved in a recent theft.
The Kamloops RCMP Detachment has released a photo of the suspect as part of an ongoing investigation into an incident reported on Feb. 27, 2026.
According to police, at approximately 1:20 p.m., officers received a report of a theft near the 1000-block of Hillside Drive. Investigators say a woman allegedly stole a Milwaukee Rotary Hammer Kit and two Milwaukee Heated Women’s Jackets. The total value of the items is estimated at just under $800.
“As part of the ongoing investigation, police obtained an image of the suspect and are releasing it to the public and hoping that someone can make an identification,” said Cpl. Dana Napier, spokesperson for the Kamloops RCMP. “If you have seen the person in the photo, the stolen items, or have information related to this investigation, please contact police.”
