Sun Peaks is set to welcome food lovers and experience seekers alike as the Savour Culinary Festival returns from March 16th to 21st, 2026. This multi-day celebration of gastronomy, culture, and creativity brings together some of the region’s most talented chefs, beverage artisans, and cultural visionaries for a series of exclusive ticketed dinners and immersive culinary experiences.
“You can spend the day on the slopes and then step into a beautifully curated dining or tasting event in the evening,” says Naomi, one of the festival organizers. “It’s a place where culinary experiences blend perfectly with spring skiing.”
A Festival for Everyone
The festival offers something for a wide range of guests. Families can enjoy skiing by day and sneak away to curated dinners in the evening, while couples and groups of friends can turn the experience into a full getaway. “It’s just a nice time on the mountain,” Naomi explains. “Whether you leave the kids at home or bring them along, there’s something for everyone.”
Tickets are available through ShowPass or on sunpeaksresort.com, where visitors can view the full lineup of events and purchase individual tickets or multi-day passes.
From Humble Beginnings to a Signature Event
Savour 2026 marks the second year of the festival, which has grown out of Sun Peaks’ popular Apres Wine event. Originally held in January, the festival was moved to March to coincide with peak spring skiing season and offer a broader, more vibrant experience. The Apres Wine Stroll makes a return this year on Friday night, delighting fans of the original event.

Vikram Vij
Meet the Co-Host: Vikram Vij
One of the highlights of this year’s festival is the participation of celebrated chef Vikram Vij, co-hosting the event alongside local organizers. Vij, whose Vancouver restaurant Vij’s has earned international acclaim and multiple Michelin Bib Gourmands, brings his elevated, modern approach to Indian cuisine to the intimate mountain setting of Sun Peaks.
“VIP guests get to start their night just with an experience with Vikram,” Naomi explains. “There’s a masterclass paired dinner, interactive Q&A, and a chance to learn about flavor building and modern Indian culinary techniques.” Guests leave not only satisfied but inspired, with tips they can recreate at home.
Signature Experiences
Saturday night caps off the festival with the Epicurean, a multi-course tasting event curated in partnership with La Chaîne des Rotisseurs. Guests enjoy an interactive culinary experience with top chefs from the region, paired with premium beverages for an elevated evening.
In addition to exclusive dinners and masterclasses, Savour 2026 showcases locally sourced ingredients from Sun Peaks’ finest eateries, perfectly paired with artisanal brews, cocktails, and wines.
