Missing Kamloops woman Dianne Freeman and her dog "Banjo"/via Kamloops RCMP
The Mounties in Kamloops are asking you to keep a close eye out for a woman in her early 80’s and her dog.
Diane Freeman and “Banjo” were last seen making a stop for an item at an unidentified grocery store on Tranquille — likely the Save-On-Foods — in north Kamloops late Thursday afternoon.
RCMP say Freeman left her home just before 5pm on Thursday (April 16th) to make a quick run to the Brock Centre Shopping Mall.
It’s since been determined she made it to the grocery store and made a purchase, leaving the store at about 5:15pm.
She hasn’t been seen since.
“When Diane did not return as expected, her family reported her missing to police,” stated S/Sgt. Janelle Shoihet with Kamloops RCMP. “It is extremely out of character for her not to return to her home, which is causing increased concern for police and her family.”
