The Silvertips led twice through power play goals from Jackson Berezowski – at 17:34 in the first period and at 7:49 in the second – but the Blazers didn’t trail for long.
Zellweger tied the game at 1-1 at 18:09 in the first period while Minten scored his first at 9:07 in the second, to leave the game evenly poised heading into the final period.

Minten and Kyan Grouette traded goals early in the third period, before Matthew Seminoff scored the game winner at 11:41 of the period.
“They’re a hardworking group,” Minten said, of the Silvertips. “They pushed us. They were doing lots of good things out there so we just stuck with it and ended up getting the break in the third as we’ve done a few times this year.”
