Kamloops RCMP are asking for help in identifying one of two men who are suspects in a month-long assault investigation on the North Shore.
RCMP say they were called to a bus stopped at Tranquille Road and Poplar Street around 8:20 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, where where two men in their 20s assaulted a man in his 60s with blunt objects.
“One of the men was quickly identified, but the second one still remains unknown at this time,” RCMP spokesperson Corporal Crystal Evelyn, said.
“Police are releasing an image of the unidentified man in hopes that someone will recognize him and contact the detachment, or that he’ll do the right thing and come forth to help further the investigation.”
The suspect is a white man in his 20 with a dark, thick moustache. Police say he was wearing a white camo hoodie, a black Chicago White Sox cap, and a white cross-body fanny-pack with green zipper flies.
If you have information, you’re asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-4909.
