Kamloops RCMP are asking for help in finding a suspect in a vehicle break-in and theft investigation at an underground parking lot on Lorne Street.

Mounties say they were called to the 200-block of Lorne Street around 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 11.

Spokesperson Corporal Crystal Evelyn says a vehicle’s window was smashed and a number of items inside were stolen over night.

“Security cameras in the area captured an image of a suspect, which we are releasing to the public in an effort to help further the investigation,” Evelyn said.

The suspect is described as a white man who was wearing a black hoodie, blue pants, and black sneakers with white laces.
