Earlier this week it was reported the Canadian Mental Health Association had filed a formal complaint with Kamloops RCMP over a pair of interactions officers had with clients.
In the complaint, Alfred Achoba, the executive director of the CMHA in Kamloops, said staff at the homeless shelter in the old Greyhound bus station were concerned after officers were seen videotaping clients, making social media posts, and being “disrespectful” when attending overdose calls.
Achoba joined NL Newsday with Brett Mineer this afternoon to discuss those complaints as well as the RCMP response.
