RCMP say a child’s special tricycle that was stolen from North Kamloops home last month has been returned to its rightful owner.
Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says Kamloops Mounties were notified around noon yesterday, June 8, that the folding blue tricycle was spotted on the 100-block of Victoria Street West.
“The tricycle had been modified with some paint and stickers, but was confirmed to be the one reported as stolen and belonging to the child,” Evelyn said, noting the tricycle was seized by police.
“The tricycle has since been returned to its rightful owner. The Kamloops RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.”
In an email to RadioNL, Evelyn said no charges are pending.
