Over 2,000 customers in the Aberdeen area are without power Wednesday morning.
BC Hydro says the cause of the outage is being investigated, though it is believed to be because of a fire beneath a power pole in that part of Kamloops.
Firefighters made quick work of the blaze, which is believed to be caused by a bird strike near the corner of Pacific Way and Abbeyglen Way.
