Two trailers and part of a chicken coop caught fire in the Noble Creek Area early Wednesday morning.
Kamloops Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Scott Johnson says crews responded to the fire on the 6200 block of Westsyde Road around 12:45 a.m., July 12.
“There were no injuries that have been reported yet, there was nobody in the trailers, they were RV-style trailers from my understanding,” Johnson told Radio NL.
He says while the was quickly extinguished, crews remained on the scene for a few hours.
“Due to some propane tanks that required special care, they were venting off, so we had to keep them cool while they vented,” he said.
“We had an inspector head out there today, but we don’t have a cause yet.”
