Kamloops RCMP say a man in his 70s was killed after a Wednesday afternoon motorcycle crash in Knutsford.
Mounties say they were called to the crash on Highway 5A at Cardu Hill around 1:30 on Sept. 6.
RCMP spokesperson, Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says police arrived to find the motorcyclist being tended to by paramedics and other people who were providing first-aid.
She says the victim was taken to hospital with injuries that were believed to be non-life threatening at the time.
“The victim, a man in his 70s, sadly succumbed to his injuries later that night,” Evelyn said, noting police do not suspect criminality to be a factor in the crash.
The BC Coroners Service is also investigating the crash.
People with information about the crash are being told to contact the Tk’emlúps Rural Detachment at 250-314-1800 and reference file 2023-32293.
