
On the one-year anniversary of the death of Mark Hoffman, the BC RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit is renewing its appeal for help in solving this case.
Mark Hoffman was last seen on December 15, 2023, at around 5:30 in the evening, where he was making a purchase at the Jimmy’s Liquor Store at 408 Paul Lake Road in Kamloops. His body was discovered the following day at the Inks Lake Road recreation site located off Highway 5, south of the city.
RCMP are releasing two new still images from CCTV footage of Mark Hoffman’s visit to Jimmy’s Liquor Store.
Previously released photographs of Mark, his dog, and his Ford Explorer remain crucial in identifying potential witnesses.
Staff Sergeant Jason Smart, NCO in charge of the SED MCU says this remains an open and active investigation. “We’re urging anyone who had contact with Mark Hoffman, saw his vehicle, or has any information that may help solve this crime to contact us.”
Even the smallest detail could be critical in piecing together the events leading to Mark Hoffman’s death.
The RCMP remains committed to seeking justice for Mark Hoffman and his family, and thanks the public for their continued support in this investigation.
