Canada’s biggest Après-ski music festival, Altitunes, is heading to Sun Peaks Resort for the very first time. After four sold-out years at Big White Ski Resort, the festival is expanding to Sun Peaks for Easter weekend, April 3rd and 4th, 2026, promising two days of skiing, snowboarding, live music, and sun-drenched après energy.
A History of Big Beats and Powder
Since launching in 2022, Altitunes has brought the ultimate alpine festival experience to the mountains, combining top-tier live performances with ski-village vibes. Each year, thousands of fans have flocked to Big White for unforgettable moments—crowd-surfing in snow jackets, impromptu patio parties, late-night village hangs, and early-morning runs before the lifts open.
Now at Sun Peaks
In 2026, Altitunes will bring its signature high-energy, high-production vibe to Sun Peaks, anchored at the Sun Peaks Centre Stage, Western Canada’s largest outdoor covered entertainment venue. Festival-goers can expect events across the village, on patios, and even on the slopes, combining the perfect mix of daytime mountain adventures with night-time concerts.
Sun Peaks offers world-class skiing and snowboarding across three alpine peaks, a vibrant pedestrian village with restaurants and après spots, and stunning mountain views—the ideal backdrop for a festival built on music, powder, and good vibes. “Having the festival here is a great way to show what our mountain community is all about, with fun, memorable experiences that bring people together,” said Naomi Kerchinsky, Executive Director of Tourism Sun Peaks.
