Two Salmon Arm men are in custody after allegedly stealing a security vehicle and leading police on a chase to Kamloops.
Shortly after 11 p.m. on December 2, 2025, Salmon Arm RCMP responded to a report that a security guard’s vehicle had been stolen from a business on Alexander Street.
Kamloops RCMP later located the stolen vehicle and attempted a traffic stop near Dallas. According to Corporal Brett Urano, the suspects initially fled from one officer but drove over a spike belt deployed by another.
The vehicle continued on four deflated tires before coming to a stop in a parking lot near Dallas Drive and Todd Road, where the two men were arrested.
The 25 and 38-year-old suspects, both from Salmon Arm, are scheduled to appear in Kamloops Provincial Court at a later date.
