Kamloops RCMP officers document evidence outside the 7/11 in downtown Kamloops, Wednesday, March 11/via Paul James
More details expected sometime later today to a yet-unspecified incident outside the 7/11 in downtown Kamloops this morning.
Yellow police tape surrounds the entire parking lot of the location at 6th and Seymour.
RCMP saying only at this time that the Serious Crimes Unit is in charge of whatever did transpired at the location.
Officers on the scene were focused in on an area to the east end of the building, where a large collection of material was seen strewn about on the ground.
It’s not clear what time the Mounties were called to the location, which is less than a block from the Kamloops RCMP detachment.
The 7/11 along Seymour is frequented by those on the streets and people thought to be associated with the local drug trade.
