The winners of this year’s Y Dream Home Lottery in Kamloops have been unveiled.

The newest home owner in one of the fastest growing parts of the city is Rochelle Petri, whose number came up for the 2026 Y Dream Home on Coldwater Drive.

This year’s Dream Home was constructed  on Coldwater Road in Juniper West.

Rochelle was contacted by officials with the Dream Home Lottery this morning.

At the same time, the winner of this year’s 50/50 draw was David Pape, who takes home $337, 112 in cash.

Both Petri and Pape are from Kamloops.

While the majority of the other prize winners were also from Kamloops, with a few outliers such as Port Moody and Surrey.

The annual lottery is an opportunity for people to take home a variety of prizes.

But in the end, it also serves as the main fundraiser each year for the Kamloops YMCA and the programs that it provides to the community.

In recent years, the YMCA has been focusing on areas connected to wellness and mental health.
