Weather experts are calling for two to five centimeters of snow in the Tournament Capital beginning late tomorrow.
Environment Canada meteorologist Bobby Sehkon says snow will likely fall between Thursday night and Friday evening.
“The season is starting to shift,” Sekhon says. “Anytime that you face the first snowfall of the season it can be a little tricky for sure. Luckily this time, people will get a chance to ease into it as we’re not expecting too much snow.”
Sekhon adds drivers need to make sure to adjust their driving and most importantly, make sure they’re properly equipped for snowfall.
After Friday though, Sekhon says colder-than-normal weather and sunshine will be the dominant trend in the region for likely the next week.
