Skiers rejoice, Sun Peaks will open all its skiing areas on Friday, November 30.
Speaking on NL Morning News today, Marketing Manager Aiden Kelly says that the Sundance, Morrissey, and Todd chairlifts will open for the season tomorrow.
“It does drive business,” he said. “We are seeing more people from the Vancouver area over the last ten days or so than we normally would at this time of year because we are the best ski conditions in the province right now bar none.”
“So the folks are coming up for that.”
On Monday, Kelly says guests can score a full day Alpine or Nordic lift ticket for just $5 plus a non-perishable food donation.
All proceeds and food donations will go to the Kamloops Food Bank.
