Kamloops could see another 10 centimetres of snow fall by the end of tomorrow.
Environment Canada expects about two centimetres of snow fall late today, with five centimetres expected overnight and another two-to-four tomorrow.
Meterologist Bobby Sekhon also says the Coquihalla could see up to 20 centimetres of snow by Saturday evening.
However, the system is spread out so there’s no snowfall warning in place.
“Our snowfall criteria for the Coquihalla is 15 centimetres or more within a 12 hour period. We’re dealing with more of a 24 to 36 hour period here for this snowfall. So because of that we haven’t gone for a warning, but still drivers should be cautious with driving those roads.”
Snowfall warnings are in place for the North Thompson and southern Cariboo regions, which are expected to see between 15 and 25 cm of snow by Saturday morning.
