RCMP are now confirming a man is dead after a “shooting incident” in Cache Creek last night.

Police call it the result of an “interaction” between two men who were known to each other.

Officers called to a home in the 1000 block of Collins Rd around 7:00 pm last night.

RCMP say they do not believe there is any direct threat to the community.

They add no more information will be released.
