Charges have been laid in connection to a fatal shooting at a home in Cache Creek earlier this week.

Corey Harkness has been charged with murder and the 31-year-old appeared in Kamloops Provincial Court today.

On Monday, a man was killed in a home in Cache Creek on Collins Road after police were called to reports of a shooting.

Sources say the man killed in the shooting was Brock Ledoux. Mounties haven’t confirmed the victim’s identity and have only said the suspect and victim knew eachother.

Harkness remains in custody and police say he is expected to appear again in Kamloops court on Friday.
