It’s a happy ending for a dog found along the Coquihalla Highway this weekend by maintenance employees.

Reports say Archer the dog’s owner has been found.

VSA employee Carlie Holman, who found Archer, has been in contact with the owner, who is a truck driver from Calgary.

The owner, Tony, saw the story online and recognized it as his missing dog.

He says he was playing with Archer at a rest stop on the highway, when it was hit by another truck driver and ran off into the night on January 15.
