Fraserway RV has donated $275,000 towards a new fire hall in Loon Lake.
The fire hall was destroyed during the 2017 Elephant Hill wildfire.
In a release, the Thompson Nicola Regional District says Fraserway RV’s campaign aimed to raise $500,000 in five weeks to rebuild communities destroyed by wildfires.
It ended up raising $670,000.
In addition to the Loon Lake fire hall, money will also go towards numerous non-profits and charities including secondary breakfast programs in Clearwater and Barriere.
There’s also a $20,000 donation to Cache Creek to help them replace a fire truck.
