The large decorative burger at the Shuswap Grill in Salmon Arm was stolen earlier this week.
It happened during the dinner rush on Monday, and owner Dan Shields says they’ve got no leads, and he’s not sure who’s responsible.
“It’s big enough that two people have to carry it, only because it’s awkward,” he added. “They had to lift it up over some dumpsters to get it over to [their vehicle].”
“It’s actually very light, maybe 50 to 60 pounds. It’s made of almost 100 per cent styrofoam and a little bit of plastic for the lettuce and stuff.”
He’s asking people to keep an eye out for the stolen sandwich.
“I might try to locate something else if it’s not found,” he added. “I have another one on the highway, with a chef standing beside it. I might try to find a milkshake or something else.”
And Shields is sure if the burger is found, people will now know who the owner is.
