Police in Kamloops are investigating after the Canco Gas station on Tranquille Road was robbed earlier Sunday morning.

An unknown suspect got into the gas station and demanded that money be put into a black cloth grocery bag, before leaving towards the Overlander Bridge.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says there were no injuries.

“The suspect is described as being about 5’8″ tall,” she said. “They were wearing an olive green army-style thick coater over a Carhartt brown jacket over top of a blue checkered hoodie.”

“They also had light blue gloves on and had a black neck-gator over the bottom of their face.”

Shelkie adds there is no information as yet to link this robbery to the others in Kamloops.
