There’s been some sort of police incident in the Dallas area this morning.

It’s apparently between Mountview and McCauley on Dallas Drive.

Not much information from police just yet, but they did confirm it’s an ongoing situation.

“Officers are at numerous locations throughout Kamloops,” said Spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie.

“It is not believed that there is any risk to the public.”

Dallas Drive was shut down earlier this morning, Shelkie says, but noted it’s open now, and traffic can flow through.
