Kamloops RCMP have arrested a 21-year-old man after a stabbing at a home in Rayleigh this afternoon.

Police were called to a home just after 4:30 p.m. and found a man suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says the suspect fled the scene but was tracked down and arrested without incident. The suspect is known to police and charges are pending.

Shelkie adds the stabbing incident was isolated and says it’s believed the victim and the suspect knew each other.
