Kamloops RCMP are asking for help in identifying a man who robbed the 7-Eleven on Summit Drive early yesterday morning.
Police say the man entered the store with a knife at about 2 a.m., stealing cash from the till before fleeing on foot. The clerk in the store wasn’t hurt during the incident.
Police describe the suspect as a Caucasian man who was wearing a brown jacket, red shirt, blue jeans, a black and white bandana, black gloves and running shoes.
The 7-Eleven was robbed nearly two months ago, on Jan. 8, but police say there is no evidence at this time that links yesterday’s robbery to the January incident, or to others robberies in Kamloops in January.
Those with information on yesterday’s robbery are asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
