Two men and a woman were arrested walking down the Coquihalla this morning, near Merritt.

It’s related to a vehicle that was stolen from a Williams Lake car dealership on Tuesday.

Police were called to reports of people walking along the Coquihalla today, saying it was suspicious.

When officers got to the scene on the highway, the stolen Kia was found, along with the trio of suspects.

“This is another great example of the good work that Frontline Officers are doing and the collaboration between neighbouring police detachments,” said Cst. Joel Kooger, in a release.

Officers say they used surveillance video to identify some suspects.

Kooger confirmed that the trio are facing numerous charges, but no names were released.
