If you’re an art lover or just looking to redecorate, there may be the perfect solution for you.
Art in the Attic is a fundraiser that’s reselling donated art being put on the the Kamloops Day Break Rotary Club.
The money’s going to replace the gazebo at Overlander Residential Care, which will also be used by The Trinity Hospice which is part of Overlander.
Organizer Bev Warner says when it comes to art, there’s something for everyone.
“It’s so personal, like any kind of art will be good for somebody, there’s somebody who will like that piece of art and so if it doesn’t fit for you anymore I’m sure there’s somebody out there who would like to be able to get it and at a price they can afford.”
The event isn’t until October 4 and 5th, so you have plenty of time to donate any artwork you may want to get rid of.
There’s five different places you can drop off your artwork – Travelwise at 456 Victoria St, Portfolio Interiors at 1216 Battle St, Smith Chevrolet at 950 Notre Dame Dr, Kamloops Insurance Services on 455 Lansdowne St., and the North Shore Business Association 115 Tranquille Road.
