It’s another record year for value pack ticket sales for the Kamloops Y Dream Home Lottery.

Less than 36 hours after going on sale, all 1,200 value pack tickets for the lottery have sold out.

Dream Home Director of Marketing Bryce Herman says it breaks last year’s record when the value packs sold out in two and a half days.

“There was more of them this year,” he said. “Momentum last year was amazing, and the single tickets are moving on record pace at this point.”

“I think that the dream home itself is going to take a couple of weeks and it will be wrapped up.”

This year’s dream home is in Tobiano, the first time it’s been built in the TNRD.

“Certainly know that sales have been very aggressive at the sales outlets,” Herman added. “The online sales have continued to move very rapidly.”

“The phone system is literally just bogged down with calls. You can only move so quickly through them.”

Tickets for the 50/50 draw is moving rapidly as well, with the jackpot currently sitting at around $6,000.

Herman adds that people should buy their tickets as soon as possible if they want to get in on the July 3 draw.
