Kamloops Airport built on a record 2018 for visitors in the first three months of this year.
YKA staff say just under 102,000 travellers went through the terminal between January and March, which is an 8.9 per cent jump from those same months in 2018.
Managing director Ed Ratuski says the airport is seeing a lot of business and leisure travellers.
“In March we were up 10 per cent, but quarterly numbers take into account the first three months in total which were up about eight and nine per cent, respectively… It’s showing that the markets that the airlines are serving are what the passengers are looking for.”
In 2018 more than 352,000 travelers used Kamloops Airport.
