Another successful McHappy Day in the Kamloops and Merritt area.

Kim Eliason, a Customer Relations Representative with McDonald’s Kamloops says they raised $77,527.84 across the two communities.

“Yesterday was a fantastic day,” she says. “We just want to thank everybody in Kamloops for coming out and supporting McHappy Day. It was the 26th one that we’ve had in Canada.”

Eliason wasn’t sure if this was their best ever year in Kamloops and Merritt, but says they raised about $10,000 more than what was raised last year.

“We couldn’t have done it without everybody’s support, so we’re just really appreciative for everybody who came out and supported the day yesterday.”

In all, more that $66-million has been raised across Canada since McHappy Day began.
