The executive director of Venture Kamloops says a real estate tool it uses is helpful for resident attraction.

Jim Anderson says the organization’s comprehensive online real estate map it has for Kamloops is an “epiphany” to other communities.

Ours is one of the few where we actually produce the sales information on a map. It’s not available through MLS. We provide property-by-property sales data, what a property sold for in the most recent transaction and the transaction before that, and the size of the property.”

Anderson says the goal is to give the most complete picture to prospective residents.
