The BC Lottery Corporation handed out the most money it ever has for a slot machine win, giving a cheque for 2.1 million in Kamloops.

The big win for a Prince George came after placing just a three dollar bet on a Powerbucks machine at the Treasure Cove Casino in Prince George on July, 13.

Marylyn Dumoulin says when she first won she thought it was for just $2,100 but then security guards surrounded them and a casino employee came and told her just how much the machine was paying out. Dumoulin says she still can’t believe it.

Dumoulin and her husband say they have already bought a new R-V and is excited to hit the road, starting with a trip to Edmonton for a family reunion.

BCLC officials say the previous record for a lot machine win in the province was $1.1 million which happened about one year ago.
