There was a slight decrease in the number of thefts for motor vehicles in Kamloops with 48 between July 15 and July 21.

It is down from the week prior where there were 60 thefts reported according to Kamloops RCMP.

Neighbourhoods not listed on the maps are Barnhartvale and Batchelor Heights with one theft each, Westsyde with three, and two thefts in rural areas near the city.
