Just after 11:00 this morning, Kamloops RCMP responded to a robbery that was taking place at the TD Bank located at 501-1801 on Highway 5A.

A lone male presented a letter to the teller indicating that he was armed. The teller complied with the demand and gave the male some money including a dye pack that later exploded in his pocket.

An adult male from Kamloops matching the description, with a dye mark on his clothes, was later located and arrested.

There were no weapons found and there were no injuries.
