Kamloops RCMP say there were 36 thefts from motor vehicles last week between August 12 and August 18.

There were seven thefts reported downtown, and about a half dozen total between Valleyview and in Lower Sahali.

There were also a half dozen thefts from vehicle near the Tranquille corridor on the North Shore.

One theft in Westsyde and one theft in the rural part of the city is not recorded on the map according to the RCMP.
