A 22-year-old man was arrested during the noon hour at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Victoria Street.

Police say the man was wanted on a mischief offence in relation to a domestic violence investigation.

Staff Sgt. Ed Preto says there were multiple police units involved as the man had been running from police after he was first spotted at 5th Ave and Lansdowne Street.

He’s got a court appearance on Wednesday, and the BC Prosecution will determine if there will be charges.
