The bad news is, summer is winding down. The good news is, fall is looking not too bad.
That’s according to Environment Canada’s senior climatologist.
David Phillips released his fall forecast this week and while appearing on the NL Morning News, he said the next three months should be pretty good. “We’re showing for British Columbia, a good chunk of Canada actually, as actually being warmer than normal.”
Phillips reminded us “It’s important to understand it’s not every day, it’s not every week but we think the flavour of the September, October, November period will clearly be milder than normal.”
“We think a little bit more westerly air, southerly air and not any, not too much arctic air will be the mix of of what we see in the weather this fall.”
