
A spike in thefts from motor vehicles in Kamloops after two slightly slower weeks.
Police say there were 57 reported instances from the week of August 26 to September 1.
There was a large concentration of thefts in the Tranquille Corridor near the Overlanders Bridge and in the Aberdeen and Pineview areas.
Police say two locations were unable to be mapped, while one each in Valleyview and Barnhartvale are not shown on the map below.
During the week of August 12 to August 18 there were 36 thefts, while there were 35 the following week from August 19 to August 25.
