A 19-year-old missionary involved in a crash north of Kamloops last Friday has died of his injuries.

Bryant Keck, of Sanford, Colorado, died today, his friends and family confirmed.

“We are so sad to say that Bryant has gone on,” wrote Tyla Hutchins Weaver, the organizer of a GoFundMe that was raising money for the Keck. “He’s in a better place and will continue his mission on the other side now.”

“We can’t say enough how much your love and support means. People in this world are awfully good and it’s a comfort to everyone.”

Dallin Thompson, 19, of Sahuarita, Arizona is still in hospital with serious injuries.

Kamloops RCMP said a northbound pickup on Highway 5 hit the SUV that the two teens were in on Friday evening. The occupants of the pickup were not hurt.
