A second retail cannabis store has opened up shop on the Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc reserve.
Indigenous Blooms on Chief Louis Way opened on Sept. 6, and manager Boyd Gottfriedson says the store will be having a grand opening tomorrow.
Gottfriedson says the store has had to abide by the band’s bylaws requirements.
Another retail cannabis store, Pinnacle Access on Mount Paul Way, opened on the band back in May. Locally, there are also three private cannabis stores and two government stores open within Kamloops city limits.
More to come.
