A 16-year-old Enderby youth is facing charges after he allegedly made threats against Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport in Montreal.
North Okanagan RCMP are currently investigating after being told of a month-long series of threats made against the airport via the internet.
Police say investigators were led to a house in Enderby where the youth was arrested.
“During the search warrant, investigators seized multiple electronic devices from the home that will be further examined by police” said Cst. Kelly Brett. “Threats of this nature are taken very seriously by authorities and the consequences for this youth could be life altering.”
The youth is facing possible charges related to conveying false messages and harassing communications.
He has been released from custody with a future court date.
