The MLA for Kamloops-North Thompson thinks the days of BC’s Forests Minister Doug Donaldson are numbered.
“Between the caribou file, between how dismissive to the concerns of the forests community they’ve been, the rural dividend fund and the forest fund, cancelling one to fund the other, it’s just been a litany of errors and mistakes by this Minister,” Peter Milobar told Radio NL.
He thinks there will be a cabinet reshuffle in the wake of the appointment of special prosecutor and an RCMP investigation against former Citizen Services Minister Jinny Sims, which was announced late on Friday afternoon.
“The fact that they are saying that Minister [Selina] Robinson is temporary, I think we all know that a special prosecutor will take years, so it will be interesting to see how soon the Premier shuffles the cabinet,” Milobar added. “The Premier needs to tell us what is actually going to happen with the Ministry sooner rather than later.”
Milobar says the allegations against MLA Jinny Sims come after months of Premier John Horgan insisting that Jinny Sims has done nothing wrong.
