Kamloops RCMP say there were 39 thefts from motor vehicles in the city this past week from October 21 to October 27.

That is down slightly from the previous week which saw 41 thefts reported to police. Maps released by the RCMP shows a cluster of incidents in Lower and Upper Sahali and Downtown, as well as in the Aberdeen area.

There were also incidents reported along the Tranquille Corridor near the Overlanders Bridge and along 8th Street on the North Shore.

Police say one incident in Tranquille is not not shown on maps below.
