Two people are are facing charges after RCMP in Salmon Arm found a vehicle and some other stolen items last weekend.
Police say an Audi Q7, believed to be stolen from Richmond in late October, was found on Sunday. A man and a woman were both arrested, and they are expected to make their first court appearance in Salmon Arm.
“Both have a record for property crime offences and are known to police,” said Staff Sgt. Scott West. “The man had been released on conditions in late October on an unrelated charge and was not to be in a vehicle without the registered owner present. The woman was also on court ordered conditions in relation to property crime offences.”
West says a search of the property where the vehicle was found uncovered other items that police believe was stolen. The items were seized by police, who are now trying to identify the owners.
