
Update: A two vehicle collision tied up a busy intersection in Lower Sahali for about an hour.
Kamloops Fire Platoon Captain Darryl Cooper says traffic is flowing again at Columbia and Summit. “Approximately 12:30 we responded to a two vehicle MVI at Summit and Columbia. When we arrived we found two vehicles with significant front end damage. All of the occupants are out of the vehicle They got checked out by ambulance. Tow truck was required for both vehicles. Traffic was tied up for a while.” Cooper says thankfully no one needed to go to hospital.
Original: Emergency crews are at the scene of a crash blocking a major Kamloops intersection in Lower Sahali.
The two-car crash at Columbia Street and Summit Drive happened at around 12:45 p.m. and traffic reportedly was jammed in all directions as a result. It’s unclear if traffic is moving again at the intersection.
